I've had a difficult start to life. My alcoholic mother abandoned me in the Dystrophic Hospital. This is a hospital designed to care for children who are diagnosed with "failure to thrive". Shortly after she abandoned me, though, she came back to the hospital to bring me home, but that only lasted for a few months. It was not long before my biological family decided they could no longer care for me; a child with special needs.
